Selling a yacht is a test of patience. The wrong listing price, weak photos, or a platform that doesn't take your yacht seriously can delay a sale by months. I take on the entire process for you — and I do it with one commitment: that your yacht fetches the price it's worth, not the price that pays quickly.
The first two weeks after listing decide how fast and at what price the yacht sells.
Why the first two weeks decide everything
There's a rule of thumb in yacht brokerage: the first two weeks after listing decide how fast and at what price the yacht sells. Start that window with too high a price and you burn the interest of serious buyers — and lose the chance to hold your listing price with confidence later on. Start too low and you give away margin. The right entry price is data-driven, not emotional. I deliver you a market-price comparison with five to eight current transactions in your yacht class before we so much as talk about listing.
Who actually buys your yacht
Over the last few seasons, buyers for yachts between 50 and 100 ft have come predominantly from three markets: DACH (private owners with a clear idea, often a first or second purchase), the UK (experienced owners who, after Brexit, are deliberately seeking EU-VAT-paid yachts) and the Netherlands (technically savvy, often with a custom refit in mind). For superyachts above 100 ft the pool widens to include international buyers from the US, Scandinavia and the Middle East — here my international network of brokers and yards comes into play.
That distribution shapes your marketing strategy. A 65-ft Sunseeker with a German ownership history sells faster across DACH than on a large English-language platform — the language, the imagery and the storyline make the difference. I curate that for each yacht individually.
What you actually get
For every yacht I take on, I assemble: a professional photo shoot at the marina (exterior and interior, ideally at golden hour), a drone video with the yacht under way, a structured specs list in German and English, a clear yacht story (ownership history, refit highlights, location advantages), MYBA-conform draft contracts, and survey supervision for serious buyers. In return, I need from you: maintenance records, insurance documents, proof of VAT status. The rest I organise.
If you have a concrete sale in mind, or you're still undecided — write me a short note about what you'd like to sell. I'll come back to you within 24 hours with an initial, realistic read on the market.
