Yachts for Sale in Andratx

The Andratx inventory is smaller than Portals' — roughly 35–55 yachts change hands in the marina each year, against 120–180 in Portals and 250+ across the whole of Mallorca. That has two consequences: longer waits for the right boat in the desired class, and a greater reliance on the network. More than half of Andratx transactions are off-market — owners looking to sell speak first with their skipper, their berth neighbour, the marina director. The yacht never appears on YachtWorld or TheYachtMarket.

That's exactly why a local broker delivers more value in Andratx than elsewhere: without network access to the harbour director and the owner community, you only see the listings segment. With access, you see 2–3× more yachts — and you see them earlier. On a €1.5M boat that's never publicly advertised at all, the brokerage fee of 1.5–2.5% is often recovered several times over simply by avoiding a bidding war.

The price bands below apply to Andratx-stationed inventory as of May 2026. Note: a boat in Andratx is often 5–10% cheaper than the same model in Portals — not because the boat is inferior, but because the owner is addressing Andratx-minded buyers.

Andratx has 460 berths ranging from 8 to 35 metres. Around 380 of them are permanently allocated to owners — mostly inherited or transferred through direct buyer-seller deals with premiums between €80,000 and €300,000. The remaining 80 are available for daily and weekly rental; in high season (June to September) they run over 95% occupied. Anyone who wants to buy a yacht in Andratx has to think about the berth beforehand — not after.

Three strategies that work for my Andratx buying clients. First: an owner berth with a transfer fee — through my network I regularly hear of owners who want to give up their berth at the same time as the yacht. If you buy the boat and the berth together, you save 12–24 months of waiting. Second: a season contract in a neighbouring marina, with the Andratx waiting list running in parallel. Berths in Port d'Andratx Pueblo, Sant Elm or on the Cala Llamp mooring are cheaper and available at shorter notice; I broker interim solutions there regularly. Third: a Cala Llamp mooring with tender access for smaller yachts — the seasonal mooring buoy off Cala Llamp costs €6,000–€11,000 per season, and the tender dock is 5 minutes from the bay.

What you should not attempt: requesting an Andratx annual berth through the official marina administration without a referral. The waiting list is several years long and does not operate in the open. Without an introduction through the marina network, your request sits right at the back.

When I recommend Andratx to buyers, it's rarely about the harbour itself. It's about the cruising ground. Mallorca's south-western tip is the island's most demanding, most dramatic coastline — the Tramuntana mountains drop straight into the sea, rocky beaches alternate with hidden coves, the westerly wind arrives reliably in the afternoon and turns a sailing leg up to Banyalbufar into a real experience. Start from Portals or Palma and you sail at least 90 minutes just to reach these waters — and then you're left with four rather than six effective hours in the cruising ground per day.

Andratx solves that. A Sa Dragonera day departing Andratx at 09:30 is relaxed; from Portals it isn't. Cala Llamp for sunset with a return run in the dark is 15 minutes from Andratx — from Portals it's a logistics exercise. Sant Elm for lunch and back to the family in the afternoon is a matter of course from Andratx. Anyone building their Mallorca yacht life around the western flank buys, logically, in Andratx or Port Adriano.

The second reason is demographic. Camp de Mar, Cala Llamp and Cala Fornells have been a summer residence for DACH buyers of a certain profile for two decades — often retired entrepreneurs, older private individuals with a second home, frequently family ownership across two generations. The neighbourhood matters more here than elsewhere: if you own a villa in Camp de Mar, you probably know three other yacht owners in your circle, all of them berthed in Andratx. Yacht owners here are often introduced through the local social network — marina staff, restaurant teams and skippers are part of the social fabric.

I work primarily out of Puerto Portals — that's where my office is, and where most of my owner mandates are stationed. But for Andratx buyers this opens up a practical detail: I broker not only from the Andratx listings pool, but also from Portals and Port Adriano, and I deliver the yacht to Andratx once the purchase closes. That effectively doubles to triples your selection pool — without making you buy a boat someone else has already passed on three times.

The typical Andratx purchase workflow with me: a first scan of the Andratx inventory (I'm there weekly), a parallel search of the Portals and Port Adriano stock (daily), a shortlist of three to five candidates with photo documentation, then a joint viewing in a single day with me alongside you. The yacht handover and berth occupation then take place in Andratx, coordinated with the marina administration there.
