Globito de Mar

Globito de Mar is a 2019 Sanlorenzo SX76 — and for me one of the most interesting yachts I can currently offer in Mallorca. Sanlorenzo's SX line is a deliberate break with the classic flybridge: a crossover between flybridge and explorer yacht that is built around one large, open living space instead of compartmentalised decks.

You notice this the moment you step into the main saloon. Full-height panoramic windows on both sides practically bring the sea inside, and the transition from the saloon to the beach club at the stern is seamless. This stern platform is the heart of the SX76: it transforms into a lounge area right at the waterline, from which you step straight into the water, onto the water toys or up to the dining table in the aft-deck cockpit.

At 23 metres, Globito de Mar offers four cabins for up to eight overnight guests, and up to twelve guests during the day. The two Volvo Penta IPS drives give her a relaxed cruising speed of 15 knots — the SX76 is not a racer; she is built for comfort and range. Combined with the stabilisers, that means quiet nights at anchor, whether in the bays of the south coast or on the way to Cabrera.

Her home port is Marina Cuarentena in Palma — centrally located, with short runs into the Bay of Palma and to the west coast. On board are an experienced crew of skipper and hostess, a Williams 390 jet tender, snorkelling equipment and two stand-up paddleboards; further water toys can be arranged on request.

The charter week starts at €39,000 in low season; in high season (July/August) it is €45,000, in each case plus fuel and local VAT. For a full week at sea with family or friends, Globito de Mar is one of my first recommendations in this size class.
