Description
Gadea is an Aicon 72 SL — an Italian sports yacht from 2006 that was completely refitted at the beginning of 2026. For me she is the most accessible yacht in the 23-metre class of my charter portfolio: fast, elegant and with a weekly rate noticeably below the younger models of this length.
In the 2000s, Aicon stood for sporty, elegant lines, and the 72 SL still shows it today. With two Caterpillar engines of 1,570 hp each she runs at up to 30 knots — fast enough to reach more bays in a day than most yachts her size. At a cruising speed of 20 knots she stays economical and quiet; the stabilisers keep movement to a minimum, both underway and at anchor.
Below deck you will find three cabins with three private bathrooms for up to six overnight guests, and up to twelve guests during the day. The saloon with its light wood interior and the dining table set in the aft-deck cockpit are the centre of life on board — this is where you eat, laugh and wait for the sunset.
Her home port is Palma de Mallorca. On board are a skipper and a hostess, a Suzuki tender, a jet ski, snorkelling equipment and two stand-up paddleboards.
The charter week starts at €22,800 in low season, €25,200 in mid season (June/September) and €27,600 in high season (July/August) — including crew and local VAT, plus fuel. If you are looking for a sporty, uncomplicated yacht for a week in Mallorca, Gadea is an honest recommendation.
