Description
Mio Barco is a 2020 Princess Y78 — at just under 24 metres the largest and most exclusive yacht in my charter portfolio, and the right choice when you want to go one size up. The Y Class is Princess's modern flagship line: clean lines outside, warm walnut wood and generous panoramic windows inside.
On board, you feel the step up in size immediately. The saloon is a true living room with wraparound sofas and a separate dining area; the flybridge offers a wet bar, a lounge and a second helm station; and the foredeck sun lounge is a world of its own. Aft, an elegant spiral staircase leads from the cockpit up to the flybridge.
Below deck, four cabins with en-suite bathrooms accommodate up to eight overnight guests — the owner's cabin spans the full beam of the yacht with floor-to-ceiling hull windows. During the day, up to twelve guests can be on board. A crew of three provides service at the level this class leads you to expect.
Her home port is Palma de Mallorca. A tender and water toys are part of the equipment.
The charter week is €47,500 in low season and €52,500 in high season (July/August), each plus 21% VAT and 35% APA (the on-board fund). If you are planning a week with family or friends at the highest level — with space, crew and a yacht that leaves an impression — Mio Barco is my recommendation.
