Sea Shell

Sea Shell is a 2022 Azimut 53 Fly — the youngest and most modern yacht in my current charter portfolio and my entry point into the flybridge class. At 17 metres she is compact enough to stay uncomplicated, and large enough for a comfortable week with family or friends.

Azimut is one of the best-known Italian yards, and the 53 Fly shows why: clean, modern lines, plenty of light in the saloon and generous exterior spaces from the foredeck to the flybridge. The flybridge in particular is the highlight — with helm station, sun pad and seating area, it is the favourite spot on board once the sun climbs.

Below deck, three double cabins with two bathrooms accommodate up to six overnight guests; during the day, up to eleven people can be on board. Two Volvo Penta IPS drives with 900 hp each take Sea Shell up to 30 knots; at a cruising speed of 18 knots, the gyro stabiliser ensures a smooth ride and quiet nights at anchor — a real difference, especially with children on board.

Her home port is Palma de Mallorca. On board are a skipper and a hostess, a jet tender, snorkelling equipment and a paddleboard.

The charter week is €24,500 (day charter €3,750), including crew, local VAT and water toys, plus fuel. I will gladly go through the exact seasonal rates with you personally. For families chartering their own yacht for a week for the first time, Sea Shell is my clear recommendation.
